On the last post, I said there was more to come on it..
So let me write a bit about cheap rebounders.
They are what they are, cheap. Ones you will find at a store like Walmart, The Bay or Fitness Depot that go from $50 to $150. The 1st and biggest problem with this type of rebounder is that they are like bouncing on cement. Very hard and shocky on the joints. Hard on the spine, ankles, and knees, but it effects the whole body.
Essentially, your choice but really hard and totally not recommended for anytype of exercise program or home exercise device program with/for your body. You will end up paying for using one of these devices in the long run with poor health in the future. Namely aches and pains in your body down the road.
Another poor quality device is the Urban Rebounders. Looks Ok and bounce is sorta ok, but this mat deteriorates real fast. Just a product, made cheap, to sell quick, that looks good, but lasts about 2 months I figure. Mat will rip, feet on unit will wear through, springs stretch from bouncing real easy. The soft bounce is just not there. Not only that, I know someone who purchases one of these and he got exactly that… A cheap rebounder that decintegrated real fast.
Also, he used the exercise program put out by JB and he ended up causing himself more pain. So in terms of product and instruction, it is designed to make a quick buck, nothing more. Atleast in my opinion.

Hey, thanks for tuning in today.
Whilst there are many different types of rebounders on the market which claim to be good, in my mind there are only 3 brands which really stand out. They are rebounders made by Bellicon, Cellersizer, and Needak.
The rebounders made by Bellicon are *top* quality. There is nothing cheap about these. There price range I believe is in the $600. range. Soft, with an excellent bounce these are for people who can really use a rebounder in the optimum fashion. A little bit too pricey for me, but they are the top of the line brand.
The rebounder made by Cellersizer is a step down in price, and a slight step down in quality but not performance. There price is approximately $400 us. The main difference between a Cellersizer and a Bellicon is the softness of bounce, which is probably slightly less soft than on a Bellicon. A cellersizer also uses springs instead of bungee cords such as a Bellicon uses. But they are high quality springs and will give you years of use out of your rebounder without replacement, as the amount and quality of steel used in these is of premium amount.
The needak is a step down, but never the less, a very good step down. Why do I say this ? Simply because they do what is required for the cheapest price. Slightly over $200. This model also uses springs instead of bungee cords do deliver a top quality bounce. The big difference between this one and a Cellersizer is the price. The reason for the difference in price is the quality of spring which is supplied with the unit. With the needak, you will need to change spring once every 18 to 24 months, with a new set of springs costing approx. $75. But, for people starting out, this is probably the best choice of rebounder to get.
More to come on this topic

With this device, yu can easily loose weight in just 2 weeks. And I am not talking about just 1 pound. Depending on your current weight, your current diet, and your overall eating patterns, you can really loose A LOT of weight. For example, lets say you are 50 lbs over the weight you should be. I would estimate that you could loose 5 lbs as it is easier to take off when you are more over weight. It is the last 15 to 20 lbs that is the hardest to loose. Not only that, this device is easy to use. You can easily use it for an hour at a time, without putting in much effort. Also, this is a VERY enjoyable device to use. Use it while listening to music, or watching TV. The rebounder does all the work, you do very little.
Please see other posts on the different types of rebounders. There will be a different post coming out on this soon.
Thanks and please visit my website to see and example of loosing 60 lbs in 3 months.

Well, essentially, there are many different makes and models of rebounders on the market. But, having been using one for the past 7 years and also having gotten into them when the market started to slowly pick up for them I know what is good and what isnt. When you use your rebounder, you must remember that this is a device which over the course of a year will incur approximately 1 million bounces. It takes a lot of wear and tear. If you buy a cheap one ( cant name names here ) and use it correctly ( more on how to use it correctly ) then it wont last due to the amount of miles you put on it. If you buy an expensive one then you are essentially getting a quality product, but you are spending more money than you really need to. If you buy the right one then it should last you about 3 to 5 years without having to buy another one.
Substandard models will not provide you with the correct bounce and the material they are made with is of CHEAP China like construction. Looks good on the outside and in the price range, but you will disintigrate it if you use it right. Or it will just fall apart. Not only that, the bounce is not right.
This is why I prefer the Needak brand.
I have personally torn up several models when I first started doing this form of exercise. I sent them back because I kept breaking them. The needak brand is the best bang for the buck I have found. Not only that, the circumfrance of the matt is different from that of others. Only Needak provides a 38 inch matt which works your Lymphatic system in the most efficient way.
You can choose as you wish, but using these devices for several years, having written articles for major magazines on lymphology and rebounding, having used this device as home exercise equipment, for muscle building, using this to loose 60 lbs in 3 month, using it for aerobic exercise, health and fitness, I understand these devices quite well.

There are quite a few different types of exercise you can do with this device for your body. Simply put, this device exercises all muscle groups in your body. As mentioned before these include abs or abdominals, arms, legs, shoulders, chest, butt, etc… Why is this so, you ask ? This is because when you use this device, you are working your body against gravity. You are pressing against gravity, and gravity is pressing back. Which makes your muscles stronger and then tones them as well. You can develop your hole exercise routine around this and also buy specific weight packs for use which not only aid strengthening specific muscle groups, but they can also aid in bodybuilding.
So think about this for a sec… How powerful is gravity and how much of a difference can it really make ?
Well, this is also a principle of skipping rope and the benefits of skipping rope are well documented. The biggest benefit of exercise routines which encorporate skipping rope is working against gravity. This is what really does the trick. It is moving against gravity.
Which is exactly what you are doing with your body when you use this type of device. You are moving against gravity.
An here is the best part. This is a lazy man’s ( or woman’s ) exercise. When your doing this then you incorporate aerobic movements, and or weight packs, which further add to the cardio aspect of your workout.

Hi, Dave here again.
The reason this is a excellent piece of exercise equipment is that it does soooo much for you. It tones you muscles, your arm muscles, leg muscles, abdominal muscles, neck, back, chest and ( hee, hee, ) butt… But best of all, you can use this in the comfort of your own home. A rebounder also provides you with a vertical motion workout, which is much different that a horizontal motion workout, such as running. Hey, we all can get bored of the same type of routine, and guarantee you, this is a totally different type of workout. As well, the rebounder will strengthen you heart muscle and improve digestion. Anyone can use a mini trampoline, from the old to the young. Infact, I have found that this is an excellent way to keep your children motivated and also keep them from bouncing on the couch or even your bed. ( This is a little added knowledge nugget ).
The rebounder also does wonders for your lymphatic system. See my website in about me for articles from my website. The rebounder does have some history but it has really come to the forefront in the last few years. There are downsides to to the rebounder and a couple are the types of rebounders available and also the manner in which you use them. But I will say this: This is a VERY good piece of exercise equipment as indicated by NASA. They did a comprehensive review of this type of exercise back in 1979. Look in external links here and I have included a link to this NASA article. But for cardio exercise, the different part of the body listed above, home exercise equipment, aerobics, health, diet, fitness, body detox, muscle building, body building, this device cannot be beat.

This product covers a relatively new exercise product which everyone should know about. It tones and works all muscle groups in the body just by using it. It is also a simple home exercise equipment device and can be used to workout, loose weight, for endurance, cardio, training, to slim and tone or strengthen your body. It is good for aerobics as well. Muscles worked include abs ( abdominal ), arms, legs, back, core, chest, neck, butt, etc. You will reduce the time you spend at the gym or fitness studio, and you can develop a complete routine. There are other benefits to this device which relate to the overall health of your body. Since this blog is dedicated to the “exercise” benefits of this new device which is unknown to people I do not cover these added or extra benefits that this device provides to your wellness.
